【Introduction】
Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious virus that commonly causes acute gastrointestinal illness in puppies. CPV is easily spread by direct contact with infected dogs, contact with feces from infected dogs, or contact with virus-contaminated surfaces.
Clinical signs of CPV infection include fever, anorexia, lethargy, depression, vomiting, mucoid to hemorrhagic diarrhea and sometimes leukopenia. Persistent vomiting and diarrhea may quickly cause dehydration, and damage to the intestines and immune system.
【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of CPV in rectal/fecal swabs from symptomatic dog. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).
