Introduction of instrument
We have the optical module, PCR thermal module, the pneumatic module, ultrasonic module in the instrument, it automates the nucleic acid extraction and PCR amplification. The instrument has four fluorescence, it can detect 8 pathogen or gene with two chambers in a cartridge each run. You just scan the QR code, open the lid, add sample, put it into the instrument, close the door, click on the detecting button to begin. We have two types of instrument, 1800 and 8800, the 1800 can only test one sample at a run, the 8800 can test up to 8 samples at same time, and each sample is independent.
Introduction of cartridge
This is a full-closed cartridge. Each has reagent storage chamber, it is totally 11 chambers, which store the nucleic acid reagents such as lysate, eluent, washing liquid1, washing liquid2, magnetic beads, etc. There is also a extraction chamber, which perform the nucleic acid extraction process here. We utilize the ultrasonic to improve the efficiency of cell lysis. PCR chamber, each of them is 25ul, we put the dried reagent here, the purified nucleic acid will flow here for the PCR reaction.
