【Detection purpose】
Relaxin (RLN) is a polypeptide hormone that has a relaxing effect on the birth canal before delivery. It is mainly produced in the corpus luteum in the ovaries of mammals during pregnancy. Detection of canine relaxin (cRLN) in dog serum is the best diagnostic method to judge dog pregnancy. It is reported in the literature that in the absence of pregnancy and pseudopregnancy, almost no relaxin is detected in the serum. The relaxin content increased significantly around 15-20 days after successful breeding, reached the highest value at 35 days, and remained until before delivery. Within a few days after childbirth, relaxin content rapidly dropped to pre-pregnancy levels.
【Detection principle】
This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the cRLN content in serum / plasma. Basic principle: T and C lines are marked on the nitrocellulose membrane, and the T line is coated with an antibody a that specifically recognizes the cRLN antigen. The binding pad is sprayed with another fluorescent nanomaterial-labeled antibody b that can specifically recognize cRLN. The cRLN in the sample is first combined with the nanomaterial-labeled antibody b to form a complex, which is then chromatographed upward. The complex is combined with T-line antibody a Combined to form a sandwich structure, when the excitation light is irradiated, the nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, and the strength of the signal is positively related to the cRLN concentration in the sample.
