    【Introduction】
Canine enteric coronavirus (CCoV) is a pathogenic virus that infects dogs worldwide, causing enteric issues and causing harm to the dog industry and dogs. Infection is normally faeco-oral, and the virus primarily replicates in the small intestinal villi, resulting in desquamation and malabsorptive diarrhea.

Canine parvovirus (CPV) is a highly contagious viral disease of dogs that commonly causes acute gastrointestinal illness in puppies. Symptoms associated with CPV infection include lethargy, depression, and loss or lack of appetite, followed by a sudden onset of high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Canine rotavirus (CRV) is the leading cause of diarrhea and gastrointestinal upset in dogs. It can be seen in dogs at any age, puppies are more prone to rotavirus infections. The symptom of a rotavirus infection is mild to moderate watery diarrhea. In severe cases, dogs may die from dehydration, extreme weight loss, and/or an unwillingness to eat.
Cryptosporidiosis, caused by the protozoan parasite Cryptosporidium (Cryp), is a highly prevalent zoonotic gastrointestinal disease and is considered a global public health concern. Dogs are suggested as one of potential reservoirs for transmitting the Cryptosporidium infection to humans. Transmission may occur directly from calf to calf, indirectly via fomite or human transmission, or from environmental or fecal contamination.

Giardiasis is a diarrheal disease caused by intestinal infection with the microscopic parasite Giardia spp., in which Giardia intestinalis (GI, syn. G. duodenalis, G. lamblia) infects a wide range of mammalian hosts. Once infected, the parasite lives in the intestines and is passed in stool. Many Giardia infections are subclinical, and clinical infections are generally associated with chronic diarrhea with steatorrhea.

Tritrichomonas foetus (TF) is a single-celled flagellated protozoan parasite that lives within mucus covering the mucosa surface of the distal ileum, caecum and colon of cats. It is also occasionally found in the feces of dogs with diarrhea. T. foetus is similar to Giardia spp. in many ways. Infection causes inflammation of the mucosa resulting in predominantly large intestinal diarrhoea.  T. foetus is spread by fecal contamination and most common in catteries and sanctuaries.

    【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of CCoV, CPV, CRV, Cryp, GI, and TF in rectal/fecal swabs from symptomatic dog. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).

    【Specification】
    • Packing: 1 Test/Pack, 4 Packs/Box
    • Specimen: Rectal / Fecal Swabs
    • Test Time: From sample preparation to final result < 1.5 hour.
