【Introduction】
This test method designs specific primers and TaqMan probes targeting the L1 gene of 16 HPV genotypes. The probes are labeled with a fluorescent reporter group and a quencher group at their respective ends. The probe specifically binds to the single-stranded DNA in the amplification region.
【Intended Use】
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a spherical DNA virus belonging to the Papillomaviridae family and Papillomavirus genus. It can cause squamous epithelial proliferation in human skin and mucous membranes, with humans as its only host. To date, over 190 HPV types have been identified, about 50 of which specifically infect the stratified squamous epithelium of the human genital tract skin and mucosa.
