【Test Purpose】
Canine Thyrotropin (cTSH) is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland, whose main function is to control and regulate the activity of the thyroid gland.
Determination of its concentration is one of the important indicators for the diagnosis and treatment of hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism in dogs may present with one or more symptoms, such as obesity/weight gain, hair loss and behavior change.
Therefore, detection of cTSH is of great significance for the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases in dogs, and quantitative detection provides convenience for monitoring dogs with hypothyroidism.
【Detection principle】
The cTSH content in serum/plasma was quantitatively determined by fluorescence immunochromatography.
Basic principle: the nitric acid fiber membrane is marked with T and C lines, and the T line is coated with a specific antibody to recognize cTSH antigen.
Binding specificity spray mat can identify cTSH another fluorescence labeled antibody b, nanomaterials cTSH and nanometer materials first labeled antibody in the sample b to form complexes, and then to the upper analysis, a combination of the complexes and T line antibody, form a sandwich structure, when the excitation light, nanometer material emission fluorescence signal, and the signal strength and cTSH concentration in the samples into positive correlation.
