【Detection purpose】
Feline fever is a feline infectious disease caused by feline panleukopenia virus (FPV).
The general clinical manifestations are symptoms such as high fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. It has the characteristics of high mortality, strong infectivity and short duration, especially in young cats. Detection of FPV IgG / IgM antibody content in cats can reflect the body's immune status.
Clinical significance:
- Used for the evaluation of the body before immunization;
- Detection of the antibody titer of the body after immunization;
- Early detection and diagnosis during feline plague infection.
【Detection principle】
This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to quantitatively detect the FPV IgG / IgM antibody content in cat blood. Basic principle: T and C lines are marked on the nitrocellulose membrane. The binding pad is sprayed with a fluorescent nanomaterial marker that can specifically recognize the FPV IgG / IgM antibody. The FPV IgG / IgM antibody in the sample is first combined with the nanomaterial marker to form a complex, and then it is chromatographed upward.
The complex and T-line In combination, when the excitation light is irradiated, the nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, and the strength of the signal is positively correlated with the FPV IgG / IgM antibody concentration in the sample.
