【Test Purpose】
Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a retrovirus widely distributed globally. Cats infected with this virus have a significantly increased risk of developing tumors such as lymphoma. FeLV can also lead to abnormalities in blood clotting function or other blood disorders such as regenerative/non-regenerative anemia. Furthermore, it can cause immune system collapse, leading to diseases like hemolytic anemia, glomerulonephritis, and others.
【Detection principle】
This product uses fluorescence immunochromatography to detect antigen in serum and plasma.Basic principle: there are t and C lines on the nitrocellulose membrane, and the T-line is coated with antibody A which can specifically recognize FeLV antigen.The binding pad is sprayed with another fluorescent nanomaterial labeled antibody B which can specifically recognize FeLV. The target detection object in the sample first combines with the antibody B labeled with the nanomaterial to form a complex, and then upward chromatography is carried out. The complex combines with T-line antibody A to form a sandwich structure. When the excitation light is irradiated, the nano material emits a fluorescence signal, The strength of the signal is positively correlated with the FeLV antigen concentration in the sample.
