【Test Purpose】
Canine Parvovirus (CPV) belongs to the Parvoviridae family, Parvovirus genus, and can cause severe contagious diseases in dogs. Clinically, it presents in two main forms: hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and myocarditis, both characterized by high mortality, strong infectivity, and a short course of illness. It particularly affects puppies with higher infection and mortality rates.
Canine Coronavirus (CCV) belongs to the Coronaviridae family, Coronavirus genus, and is a highly significant infectious disease in dogs. Clinical signs typically include gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and anorexia.
Due to the possibility of mixed infections of CPV and CCV, reliable and effective detection plays a crucial role in guiding prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
【Detection principle】
This product utilizes fluorescence immunochromatographic quantitative detection to measure the levels of CPV and CCV in canine feces. The basic principle involves nitrocellulose membranes with T and C lines. The T1 and T2 lines are coated with antibodies a and b, which specifically recognize CPV and CCV antigens, respectively. Another antibody labeled with fluorescent nanomaterials c and d, capable of specifically recognizing CPV and CCV, is sprayed onto the pad.
In the test process, CPV and CCV in the sample first bind to the antibodies labeled with nanomaterials c and d, forming complexes. These complexes migrate upwards through the membrane. Upon reaching the T1 and T2 lines, they bind to antibodies a and b, forming a sandwich structure. When excited by light, the nanomaterial emits a fluorescent signal, the intensity of which correlates directly with the concentration of CPV and CCV in the sample.
