【Introduction】
Leptospirosis is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira. It is mainly transmitted through contact with contaminated water, soil, or food with the blood, urine, or other excreta of infected animals.
Infection in pets can cause symptoms such as acute renal failure, jaundice, bloody stools, and loss of appetite. Clinical signs include lethargy, anorexia, vomiting, abdominal pain, and polyuria, oliguria, or anuria, etc.
【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of Leptospira spp. (Lep) in blood samples. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).

• Specimen: Anticoagulated whole blood
• Test Time: From sample preparation to final result < 1.5 hour.
