【Introduction】
Canine Upper Respiratory Tract Disease (URTD) is a group of conditions that affect the upper airways of dogs. Some common symptoms include coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge, and difficulty breathing. The cause of URTD can be viral or bacterial infections, allergies, or environmental irritants. The common pathogens are Canine distemper virus (CDV), Canine adenovirus I (CAVI), Canine adenovirus II (CAVII), Canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), Mycoplasma canis (MC) and Chlamydia psittaci (CHP).【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of CDV, CPIV, CAVI, CAVII, MC, and CHP in swab samples collected from the nasopharynx, oropharynx, or conjunctiva of symptomatic dog. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).【Specification】
• Packing: 1 Test/Pack, 4 Packs/Box
• Specimen: Nasopharyngeal swabs (NP), Oropharyngeal swabs (OP) or Conjunctival swabs
• Test Time: From sample preparation to final result < 1.5 hour.
