【Introduction】
Gastrointestinal tract diseases in cats are one of the leading causes of illness and mortality in young felines. Among these diseases, Feline Enteric Coronavirus (FCoV) typically leads to milder symptoms, such as diarrhea and vomiting. In some cats infected with FCoV, the virus may spontaneously undergo one or more mutations, leading to the occurrence of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), which can result in severe and life-threatening systemic conditions. Timely detection and differentiation of the causative agent are crucial for subsequent diagnostic and treatment.
【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of Feline Infectious Peritonitis Virus (FIPV) & Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) in clinical samples. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).
