【Introduction】
Feline upper respiratory tract disease (FURD) is one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality in young cats. The typical clinical symptoms of FURD are fever, decreased appetite, depression, serous, mucous or purulent secretions in the eyes and nasal cavity, edema or ulceration in the oropharynx, salivation, and occasional cough and sneezing. The common pathogens are Feline calicivirus (FCV), Feline herpesvirus type I (FHV-I), Mycoplasma felis (M. felis), Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bbr) and Chlamydia felis (C. felis).
【Intended Use】
This product is used to qualitatively detect the nucleic acid of FCV, FHV-1, and M. felis in swab samples collected from the nasopharynx, oropharynx, or conjunctiva of symptomatic cats. Gene from the host cell DNA is used as an internal control (IC).
【Specification】
• Packing: 1 Test/Pack, 4 Packs/Box
• Specimen: Nasopharyngeal swabs (NP), Oropharyngeal swabs (OP) or Conjunctival swabs
