Science: Major breakthrough! The copyright of the one-time multiple nucleic acid detection platform developed by Zhang Feng's team based on CRISPR belongs to the author.

In a new study, a rapid and cheap highly sensitive CRISPR based diagnostic tool - SHERLOCK (Specific High Sensitivity Enzymatic Reporter UnLOCK) was developed for the first time. The researchers greatly enhanced the function of this tool and developed a micro strip test method, which allows the naked eye to observe the test results without using expensive equipment. Relevant research results were published online in Science on February 15, 2018, with the title of "Multiplexed and portable nucleic acid detection platform with Cas13, Cas12a, and Csm6".

Skilled in operation, but unable to understand the mechanism? These key points of nucleic acid detection need to be mastered!

With the implementation of strict control measures, the rampant epidemic of COVID-19 has been effectively curbed, and we have a gap for adjustment. In the process of nucleic acid batch screening, many colleagues are skilled in operation, but the mechanism is not very clear. Based on this, we have summarized the contents that may be involved in the detection of COVID-19 nucleic acid, with a view to helping the majority of colleagues to "know what is going on and why".
